Privacy Policy for The Papilio
Last updated: June 7, 2026
The Papilio uses this app to support customer conversations on Messenger and to measure purchase events for advertising and analytics through Meta tools.
Information We Process
When a customer contacts The Papilio through Messenger, Meta may send message event data to our webhook. This can include page-scoped user identifiers, message metadata, timestamps, and message text needed to identify order completion.
How We Use Information
- To detect completed orders from Messenger conversations.
- To send purchase events to Meta Conversions API for measurement and campaign optimization.
- To prevent duplicate purchase events and troubleshoot message delivery.
Data Sharing
We send limited event data to Meta through the Conversions API. Customer identifiers such as phone numbers or names, when used, are hashed before being sent. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Operational logs are kept only as needed for troubleshooting, deduplication, and business recordkeeping.
